Prepping for a Baby is not like prepping for a puppy!

Well, folks! We have officially past our due date with no Baby B in sight. If there is one thing I have learned during this pregnancy process, the medical side of the experience is just as much of an art as it is a science. It's a guessing game. 15 minute appointments, in and out, with a little bit of time with a doctor. It's crazy!

I should have expected a late babe. Both of his parents are either way early for things or fashionably late. At least he is fitting in with the family norm! Even though I knew this was a possible, it didn't stop me from having a few "moments" today. I can honestly say, I am ecstatic for his arrival, but if I ever hear anyone say they loved being pregnant, I might scream. Who does this!?! I'm uncomfortable, he's running out of room, and let's not even talk about sleep. Also, Kyle keeps asking me if it's time. Kinda like a kid in a car asking, are we there yet? HAHA!

Good news, my next doctor's appointment is on Tuesday and if he is still not here, the plan is to induce. We will have a baby no later than the end of next week. Eeeekkk with nerves and excitement!

Stay tuned for baby updates and more "thank you's". I am officially off work and have tons of catching up to do!

A big thank you to my Aunt Mary for the thoughtful gifts from Baby B. The bibs will be a lifesaver for saving his clothes from all the mess. I love all of the colors!! The teething ring and paci's are a classic and will come in super handy. The Baby Einstein teething set/toy is perfect and goes along well with some of the other baby Einstein toys we have collected. We have big hopes and dreams for this little guy!

We will make sure to send plenty of pics so you can see him enjoying his gifts! Thank you so much!!

Kyle's cousin, Stephanie and family sent the cutest books to their little Baby B!

We of course had a few classics picked out, but was even better than the classics were the special curated pieces by Jack and Ella. I am not sure the story behind the favorites, but maybe Jack and Ella can tell us about their books during our next Bruse, zoom call!

Thank you all for the books! Kyle is ready to dig in so Baby B will love to read, just like his dad and Pop pop!
