Thank you so much to our extended family, friends the Packard's for the amazing gift! We were told that the dock a tot was a "must" item and this has been confirmed by super parents, Will and Paige!

Will, you keep outdoing yourself. First you marry us, and then you send a life saver?! We LOVE being your friends, god parents to the cutest little Libby and your extended family.

Now, let's get rid of this pandemic, so we can actually see each other. We can't wait for Baby B to meet his Uncle Will, Aunt Paige and your amazing girls!

We love you all!!

Alright folks, let's talk about interview skills. I've spent years working in higher education and successfully recruiting a number of very talented applicants. Never in a million years, would I have imagined how painful it would be to interview a potential Nanny for Baby B.

A little bit of background here. With a pandemic and all of the concerns that come along with babies and Covid, we have decided to keep Baby B at home for 2021. We still have to work, so we need help! We also have a neighbor friend that had their 1st baby today (yay) and we have decided on a nanny share. Everyone wins! Both families feel comfortable with limited exposure all while the babies will have baby to baby interaction AND we get to split the cost!

Fast forward to the search: We have experienced no show's for interviews, 1/2 answered questions and answers like, "I don't know how I do, I just do" or "no, I don't agree to taxes, I would like to be paid under the table". 1. paying a nanny or a day care, does help with tax claims. This request is a hard pass, no! 2. All of these applicants know that both families are expecting our first babies... I don't know, I just do it, is NOT a comforting response, LOL!

There is light at the end of the tunnel! After all the messages back and forth and interview... fingers crossed for a positive future update. Hopefully, we have a good lead and it I will have good news to report soon enough!

David, your gift for Baby B couldn't be more fitting! Thank you so much for the world traveler play mat. Funny enough, before we even had a registry, we had this play mat book marked as a must purchase item.

More than anything we want Baby B to be exposed to amazing people, adventures and everything the world around him has to offer! As a world traveler yourself, get ready to be a guide for this little guy. He is going to need all of the advice and insight his crew can give him.

We love the gift, so much! Thank you, David!!
