More Thank You's - Jeff Soc/UVA Crew

A big Thank You to Kate, Patrick, Jordan and Katherine for Baby B's first UVA outfit!! What a super cute, super soft onesie :) As soon Kyle can get him into his UVA outfit, you all will be the first to know!

We also love the narwhal security blanket and other outfit. All just too cute and we couldn't thank you enough. There was a small note inside on of the boxes, letting us know there is more to come in the order. I can't imagine what else is left but we are so excited and thankful for your love for Baby B!

We all look forward to your visits to Cville as soon as this pandemic has calmed down. Kyle fully expects that we will begin prepping Baby B for his first debate and getting advice on how to become a future Hoo from his UVA Family!

Nursery Progress

We are almost there! "Sunday Fun-day" used to be filled with hikes, long dog walks, wineries, and or just a good ol' lazy day on the couch. Don't worry, we still have those, but recently we have been a little busy getting all the last minute touches and details worked out for Baby B's arrival.

Kyle was a trooper today! He patiently hung the decals and of course the bookshelves for Baby B's ever growing library. Word to the wise, decals are super cool, but when placing them, make sure you have all the tools needed. Also, patience for your partner! And of course as I am writing this, Kyle is making sure to correct me by letting me know, one always needs to keep the decal taut. HAHA! I had a TDAP shot on Friday and my arm was still so sore today, lifting it to help was.... delightful. No Pain, No Gain, I guess!

We have 3 more things to hang, and then, I think we will be done with the decor. YAY!! Enjoy the first round pictures of this weekends nursery adventure!

10 weeks and counting

Let the countdown begin!! Can you believe (because I can't) we are 10 weeks away from bringing home a baby!?!?! Kyle is currently screaming AAAAHH!!!!

Our baby tracking app says Baby B is about the size of a summer cantaloupe and probably an average weight of about 3lbs-ish. Anyone wanna tell me where the extra weight is coming from?

So... what's going on in the Bruse house, knowing we are so close?

• We are prepping for work coverage. WHEW! That's more than enough!

• Getting the last of the basement organized from our recent house updates.

• Failing miserably at trying to find a nanny for the spring!

• Working on his room. Updates and more pics to come this weekend!

We are also almost done with our birthing classes. And now that I am on that topic, I think I might have another blog post idea. As you can imagine, this is quite the experience with my hilarious husband!
