Prepping for a Baby is not like prepping for a puppy!

We have said it before and we will say it again... having a baby during a pandemic is a little different than what most people experience. We have been very careful about our outings and safety is always the first thought regardless of what we are doing. We are really lucky to have friends and family that respect our thoughts about big gatherings, while we continue to "quarantine" hang out with while we are playing it safe.

The weather has been perfect in Cville and we were so happy to have company, spend time with friends and celebrate Baby B!

We drove all over the country side so we could enjoy the weather and the fall views, ate some of the best BBQ in VA, and the non-prego ladies and gentleman enjoyed great wine & cider! Lauren made sure the kids found all the clue's at the corn maze, and the Chatham kids were so excited to explore and play around at every stop we made.

After a LONG day, we headed back to the house and much to our surprise, Lauren and Jenny pulled out a Sprinkle Shower of love! They had the cutest fall cupcakes, decorated the table and had little gifts wrapped for Baby B! All the kids tried to guess what we are going to name Baby B and the giggles were plentiful :)

It was a perfect weekend with amazing friends! Thank you, Lauren, Jenny, Tom, Jack, Harp and Beckett for being part of our inner circle! Baby B loves you as much as we do!

Starfishers, not just colleagues, but family! Not only do I love my job, but I truly love these people and Baby B is so lucky to have support from every corner of the country. I have a few thank you's to post with some of the cutest gift. Here we go!!

Personally, Andrina has a super cute little boy and is one of the best mom's out there! Professionally, she is my travel PIC, foodie, and always makes sure we have the right drinks in hand! She also makes sure she documents everything when it comes to the success of our clients.

Its no surprise to me, that the first thing Baby B received in the mail was a milestone blanket!! We will document all his milestone's with his cute little blanket and pillow. THANK YOU!!

Our next exciting gift arrived on a dreary Sunday evening. We actually didn't even know it was on the porch, until we opened the door and almost tripped over the box :)

Beth lives in Florida and as soon as I get a chance to travel, she better be ready for a big visit! The Finding Nemo bouncy play chair was the perfect gift from the fabulous FL girl. She always notices my Disney coffee cups during our early morning meetings and spends her weekends with the live nemo's at the beach.

Baby B will have hours of fun in his Nemo play chair! THANK YOU!!

Not last and not least, but I LOVE the story behind Baby B's diaper bag gift.

Marlane is the coolest mom, and when I see coolest mom, I mean it! There is proof out there somewhere... but I won't give your secrets away. :)

I called Marlane to thank her for Baby B's diaper bag and she said, "as soon as I looked through your registry, I knew I had to get this gift!!"

Instead of carrying a plastic diaper bag when her kids were growing up, Marlane started the cool mom trend and bought a leather book bag! It's so fitting, because Kyle and I went back and forth about either getting a leather bag or the one we eventually picked out.

Baby B's diaper bag already has some goo

dies packed and ready to go! THANK YOU!!!

On Friday, November 8th the Bruse family piled in the car and traveled to one of our other favorite cities, Richmond. Lunch was packed and we were headed to our 3D/4D ultrasound to get a glimpse of Baby B. We weren't too sure what to expect. We have read random google search opinions, but I can honestly say, it's not the same thing until you walk through the door and experience it for yourself.

Lunch was a great idea on the way there, but it quickly put his little butt to sleep. His arm was up over his forehead, like a drama queen. Life is so hard! He also really likes his toes, right in the middle of his face. Needless to say, getting him to move was a necessity, so we could get a few good shots. I chugged some orange juice and paced back and forth in the parking lot, in hopes to get him moving around. Wait for it, wait for it... it sorta worked!

In case you were wondering, he is adorable! From what we can tell, he has Kyle's brow, Kyle's nose, the "See cheeks" and maybe a little dimple right in the middle of his little chin. He is also going to be a talker (imagine that one)!! As we were shaking, poking him around, he started opening his mouth and started talking to us.

Check him out for yourself :)
