And the Theme is....

Nautical Nursery theme it is!! Kyle loves sailing and I love the water, so why not make sure Baby B has a little adventure in his new room.

We still have a lot of work to do, like hanging art and other wall decor, but here is a sneak peek of where we are with the decor. Just my opinion, but I

think its coming together really well and looking like a super cute space for our little Baby B.

Nursery Prepping for Baby B

Moving past the constant sickness of the 1st trimester and straight into prepping for Baby B. We are now at 27 weeks and in the final-ish countdown!

The fun decorating and shopping has commenced and the nursery is taking shape! So, how does one go about deciding on a nursery theme? Great question, HOURS and HOURS on Pinterest and Etsy! Let's see if you can guess the theme before the end of this blog.

We wanted to create something calm, but not too cutesy. A little nest for resting and exploration. If we were to dive into the world of our favorite places, what would be the best way to get Baby B prepped for the open waters? Baby B also needs to know that he is part of the pack and ready to ride the waves, once summer hits.

A trip to Richmond rounded out all of the furniture purchases. A few more clicks completed the endless hours of Esty art work, Wayfair shelving for all the books, and some good ol' Target for his storage needs.

Of course, there are shades of blue, along with all of the all of the fun critters that come along for the ride. Summer for us means picking crabs, eating fresh oysters and drinking wine in our favorite water town. No, no, no the theme is not a vineyard... but a vessel to the destination!!
